What becomes of the abandoned, lost or discarded fishing nets (AKA ghost rope or ghost nets) that have washed ashore along our beautiful coastline? Amazing works of art of course!

These colourful ropes can be collected, cleaned then stitched together to become a unique basket.

Join talented local artist Chrissy Pudney as she guides you through the process of making these colourful coiled baskets.

Suitable for ages 15+.

All materials supplied.

COST: $35 / $30 conc.

Meet Chrissy Pudney

Chrissy Pudney is a Mount Gambier based artist with a passion for working from recycled materials and nature. She places a strong focus on reusing items from her immediate surroundings. She spies something discarded and it has a purpose again!
