In this deluxe ceramic workshop, you can look forward to three hours of tuition with Adelaide-based ceramicist and illustrator Fruzsi Kenez. You will explore various methods of hand-building with clay to create your very own teapot or sake set.
The workshop fee covers three hours of tuition, all professional quality materials including unlimited clay, underglaze paints and tools in addition to bisque and glaze firing done by Fruzsi. There will also be a small afternoon tea.
Finished works can be collected from The Riddoch at a later date.
No previous experience needed, just an interest in spending a few relaxing hours squeezing clay and having a gorgeous set to keep or gift!

Meet Fruzsi Kenez!
Fruzsi (pronounced froo-shee) is an Adelaide-based painter, ceramicist and curator. A practicing artist for over 10 years, Fruzsi began teaching ceramic and illustration workshops in 2015, and in 2018 began visiting interstate and regional art galleries to offer these unique events to local audiences.
“For me, it is an incredible honour and privilege to travel to regional communities to teach the craft of hand-built ceramics. The experience and knowledge gained through these workshops has long-lasting positive effects that can enliven and empower the lives of students and those around them.”
Fruzsi is best known for her quirky portraits and creates many private portrait commissions for customers worldwide. She is also a self-professed cat whisperer and avid nature walker.
