SALA – FINDING THE FAB FIVE

University of Adelaide

10 - 25 August 2024
King's Floor

The marine parks in waters off South Australia include First Nations’ Sea Country and support many fabulous marine species – including the ‘Fab Five’ – sea lions, cuttlefish, sharks, whales and sea eagles.

Enjoy artworks created by school students from across regional South Australia as we celebrate the Fab Five, marine park values and the importance of Sea Country.

Presented by The University of Adelaide. This Our Marine Parks Grant project received funding from the Australian Government.

Finding the Fab Five is showing as part of the 2024 South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival.

We acknowledge the Boandik Peoples as the traditional custodians of the land we meet on today. We respect their spiritual relationship with the land and recognise the deep feelings of attachment our First Nations Peoples have with the land.
