Artist of the Week – Anne Miles

Anne Miles – Anne Miles grew up in Adelaide and studied at the South Australian School of Art, and now lives and works in Mount Gambier.

After experimentation in many different artistic fields, she now concentrates on painting in oil and gouache (similar to watercolour), drawing and also printmaking. Her works are contemporary in style and inspired by the landscape and momentary observations in life.

Over the years Anne has coordinated exhibitions and exhibited her works broadly. She even has her work included in numerous public collections. She is an active member of Gallery 54 in Penola and Thumbprint Workshop in Mount Gambier.

Anne is currently exhibiting works in the Thumbprint Inc exhibition ‘Beautiful Enemies’.
