Meet Fru!

Fru is a ceramicist and illustrator based on Kaurna country. A practicing artist for over 15 years, Fru first began teaching ceramic and illustration workshops in 2015 to local audiences before taking these unique workshops interstate to regional communities.

“For me, it is an incredible honour and privilege to travel to regional communities to teach the craft of hand-built ceramics. The experience and knowledge gained through these workshops has long-lasting positive effects that can enliven and empower the lives of students and those around them.”

Fru is currently a Guildhouse studio resident and a finalist in three national art prizes.
