Kirsten Johnston artist talk

Event Time: NEW DATE: Sat 20 May - 12:30PM

Event Location: Margaret Scott Gallery

Event Type:

*Please note: this talk was previously scheduled for Sunday 14 May – NOW SATURDAY 20 MAY*

Join local artist, Kirsten Johnston, on this exploration of her art in practice: Four rolls of Tape and a Bucket.

Process and art practice are as individual as artists themselves and, in this exhibition, Kirsten Johnston seeks only to examine her own mode of working. With wall mounted paintings and installation elements, this exhibition provides a colourful and immersive experience in a creative space.

From finished works through to the detritus of creation, this exhibition takes the viewer into the studio alongside the raw materials, the mistakes, the smells and the joys of a life in art.
