Speak Up!

Thumbprint Collective

20 June - 16 August 2026
Cathleen Edkins Gallery

Celebrating the tradition of social commentary in printmaking, Thumbprint Collective respond to significant prints by South Australian artists Ann Newmarch and Barbara Hanrahan, held in The Riddoch collection. Combining image and text to powerful effect, the works comment on society and challenge long held assumptions.

Thumbprint Collective is a diverse collective of printmakers. Based at Suttontown Chapel Studios in Mount Gambier, the collective has been providing a creative and inspiring workshop space for print makers of the Limestone Coast for over 30 years.
