Volunteer Call Out

THE ROMANS ARE COMING AND WE NEED HELP!

Presented by the Riddoch Art Gallery, exclusively to South Australian audiences, Ancient Rome: The Empire that Shaped the World, is an award-winning exhibition, on display from Saturday 17 August 2019 – Sunday 10 November 2019.

With over 200 exhibits including artefacts, catapults, frescoes, armour, weapons and busts painstakingly reconstructed from ancient Roman records, this exhibition will be bigger than Ben-Hur!

We are looking for volunteers to help take part in this exciting and ambitious event.

If you’re a history buff, enjoy getting behind-the-scenes experience, love socialising, or are simply willing to lend a helping hand, then we want to hear from you!

There are opportunities to help with ticketing, promotions, installation and exhibits – both throughout the exhibition and in the weeks leading up to the event.

In return for your assistance, you’ll get an exclusive FREE guided tour of the exhibition, meet some amazing new people and have an absolute blast!

If you’d like to volunteer, please fill out our Ancient Rome volunteer form to register and we’ll be in touch soon.

For more information please contact the Riddoch Art Gallery on 08 8721 2563 or riddoch@mountgambier.sa.gov.au

We’re looking forward to having an amazing exhibition together! Thanks for your support!!

We acknowledge the Boandik Peoples as the traditional custodians of the land we meet on today. We respect their spiritual relationship with the land and recognise the deep feelings of attachment our First Nations Peoples have with the land.
