Artist of the Week – Samantha Aslin

During our #riddochathome campaign, we’ll be sharing some of the amazing work by our local shop artists.

Today we feature Samantha Aslin with a picture of her Blue Wren.

Samantha has been producing handmade glass mosaics for 8 years. Before learning to use coloured glass during a workshop in Casterton, Samantha would use ceramic tiles to create her mosaics.

“I get great enjoyment doing this craft even though I get a few cuts on my fingers in the process. I am inspired by life around me using various subjects to portray my work”
